Organisational Psychology for Collaboration

Workshop for organisations / TAILORFIT LEARNING

Understand people and motivation to support better collaboration

Does a capable team struggle to work together when concerns and perspectives differ?

Explore behaviour in its work context, motivation and trust, then design ways of collaborating that your team can test.

Illustrative scene, not actual participants or clients

For your business

Identify roles, goals and concerns that affect collaboration, with a plan to test changes at work.

For you as a leader

A framework for discussing motivation and conflict without assuming that people’s attitudes are the cause.

REAL OUTPUT

What your team may take away

  • A collaboration factors map: roles, goals, concerns and working conditions.
  • A conversation guide for disagreement, with listening questions and next agreements.
  • A collaboration experiment plan with owners and a review method.

Know who you will work with and what is included

We match facilitators and specialists to the challenge and learners. The proposal identifies the delivery team, roles, activities and scope before agreement.

Track application at work

Use exercises and debriefs to review listening, separating facts from interpretations and clarity of agreements. Track agreed actions and feedback without mental-health diagnosis or personality classification.

Questions before deciding

How much time is needed?

1 day / 6 hours: learn the approach, practise scenarios and draft outputs. 2 days / 12 hours: deepen work on the same course, with feedback and revisions around your team’s challenge.

What prior knowledge does the team need?

We discuss participants’ experience, roles and challenge before agreeing the activities. Bring one shareable work situation, without personal data or identifiable interpersonal disputes.

Do we need company data?

Begin with sample data or examples you can share. Live data, permissions and tools must be agreed under your organisation’s requirements.

What determines the cost?

Fees depend on the challenge, participants, duration and outputs. Also consider tool costs and your team’s implementation time. System deployment or managed operations are not automatically included.

Who follows through after the workshop?

Drafts and examples are intended for adaptation and follow-through in your organisation. Your organisation assigns owners to test and measure the work. Additional services require a separate agreement.

Compare this with your team’s situation

A new process is introduced. One function prioritises speed; another fears errors. Meetings become a defence of separate targets, making it difficult to agree on shared working practices even though everyone wants the organisation to improve.

Illustrative scenario, not an actual client case

Explore the approach to this scenario

Explore constraints, goals and concerns before interpreting behaviour. Practise conversations across differences and choose working conditions that can be changed and tested.

IN THE ROOM

What we practise together

  1. 01

Explore roles, goals, concerns and constraints without labelling people.

  2. 02

Examine motivation and trust: what supports or obstructs participation at work?

  3. 03

Practise disagreement: hear reasons and concerns, separate facts and find a testable agreement.

  4. 04

Plan one change in behaviour or working conditions, with owners and a review method.

Start with the problem you want your team to handle better

We first ask what needs to improve, who will act and what progress would look like. Then we adapt the activities and outputs to your team.
